Thandanani Centre in Gauteng was filled with laughter, music, and love during a special Fun Day hosted by Northcliff Rotary Club.
Residents living with severe psychiatric conditions enjoyed home-cooked meals, dancing, and thoughtful gifts like blankets and beanies.
The event honoured the memory of Rakasha Hoosen’s late husband, turning loss into a celebration of community and compassion.
Thanks to Rotary volunteers, generous donors, and the Hoosen family, the day transformed silence and stigma into hope and connection.
It was a beautiful reminder of how kindness can heal and uplift even the most vulnerable.
