The Gauteng province is ready to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Matric Class of 2025 at the National Senior Certificate Results Announcement, which will be hosted in partnership with the Telkom Foundation at Telkom Park, in Centurion.

The National Senior Certificate Results will be announced on Tuesday the 13th of January, with individual candidate results available from 12:00 am.

Matriculants can access their results online at results.gauteng.gov.za using their examination numbers.

Residents in some parts of Johannesburg may experience prolonged water interruptions lasting seven days or more, following the start of the 3rd phase of Rand Water's maintenance plan earlier this week, which concluded on Thursday.

While the maintenance work was scheduled to last 54 hours, Rand Water has warned that system recovery could take significantly longer, resulting in extended water outages in affected areas.

Residents in Johannesburg's Western suburbs including Fleurhof, Doornkop and parts of Soweto will be affected.

The news follows recent strategic initiatives, including the expansion of the Port of East London,
allowing simultaneous docking for more vessels.
