Unisa launches inaugural Research, Teaching and Scholarship Excellence awards

The University of South Africa honoured outstanding academics at its inaugural Research, Teaching and Engaged Scholarship Excellence Awards at the Maslow Hotel in Pretoria.
Award categories were presented, recognising over 100 individuals for excellence in research, innovation, teaching and community engagement.
The awards aim to honour Unisa scholars who have demonstrated outstanding performance during the 2024/25 academic cycle.
The ceremony included the presentation of five Chancellor’s Awards and three Principal’s Awards for Research Excellence.
