The Flourish programme is offering mothers and moms-to-be in Boksburg free support that helps them build practical skills and access emotional guidance during pregnancy and early motherhood.
Hosted at Reiger Park Library from February 17, the programme runs twice a week in person and online, covering birth preparation, nutrition, breastfeeding, financial planning and job guidance.
The programme's Phindile Sibeko says Flourish also offers mother job guidance and referrals for extra support where needed.

Allfashion Sourcing Cape Town 2026 has opened registrations, giving African designers, manufacturers and emerging talent the chance to connect with global buyers in July.
The trade fair, set to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, will feature exhibitions, fashion shows, panel discussions and curated product showcases, helping participants gain exposure and business opportunities.
At the same time, the Young Designers Competition provides emerging talent with a platform to launch their careers and develop professional skills.
Show Director Natasha Pearce says the event will promote collaboration, sustainability and local manufacturing, creating real growth and opportunity across Africa’s fashion and textile sector.

Algeria is celebrating its return to the FIFA World Cup stage.
The tournament’s trophy model arrived in the country on Sunday as part of a global promotional tour, marking Algeria’s first World Cup qualification in 12 years.
Meanwhile, in South Africa, the trophy landed at Pretoria’s Union Buildings on 30 January, received by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton Mckenzie says he is excited and optimistic as Bafana Bafana prepares to compete for the trophy for the first time in 16 years:
