Story 1
People4Purpose and DearLi Design are collecting toys and toiletries for Linden CPF’s Victim Support Unit, which helps traumatised victims of crime and abuse.
The unit works with SAPS and the community policing forum to guide victims through the first hours after a crime, contacting families and providing counselling.
The donation drive, running until 28 February, aims to supply children with toys and adults with essential toiletries to ease the daily load of the volunteers.
The NPO says every donation helps bring comfort, dignity and hope to victims while showing what community support looks like.
