The Johannesburg school has a long tradition of giving back, having previously collected blankets for Mandela Day, knitted for charity, and donated school shoes for learners in need.
The meal initiative is part of the school’s community outreach programme, connecting students with local learners and providing practical support.
The school says the matric learners’ generosity and compassion set a powerful example for the rest of the school.
