Santa brings festive cheer to Horison, Roodepoort

The Horison Block Watch in Roodepoort has completed its annual Christmas run. The event saw Santa travelling through the community for three nights handing out toys and sweets.
Organisers say this is the 10th year of the initiative which is supported by local businesses and volunteers.
Residents lined the streets each night as police, security and block watch vehicles escorted Santa and his elves on a brightly lit float.
The tour also included a stop at St Lawrence Children’s Haven with the Grinch joining this year’s visit.
