Joburg Theatre to host Hugh Masekela tribute concert series

Joburg Theatre, in partnership with the Hugh Masekela Heritage Foundation, will stage a four day tribute concert celebrating the life and legacy of South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela.
The production will run from 9 to 12 April in Braamfontein and will feature a line up of well known local artists performing music inspired by his career.
The programme is designed to honour Masekela’s influence on jazz and African music, while showcasing his lasting impact on South Africa’s cultural heritage.
