UJ Choir Opens Global Choral Symposium

Residents of Mthatha, in Eastern Cape, are being encouraged to sell old and broken electronic appliances through a newly launched e-waste recycling programme by the Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Department.
The programme is collecting old and unwanted appliances to encourage proper disposal and strengthen local recycling initiatives.
For years, recyclers in the area have had to transport electronic waste to KwaZulu-Natal due to limited recycling options closer to home.
