Joburg Ballet and the University of Johannesburg Arts and Culture will present The Bacchae: An African Choral Ballet at the Mandela Theatre in Johannesburg from 3 to 12 July as part of the company’s 25th anniversary season.

The George community in the Western Cape has launched the Re-Tree George Initiative following recent storms and gale force winds that uprooted thousands of trees in the Garden Route.
The programme encourages residents, schools, businesses and organisations to sponsor indigenous trees supplied by the Garden Route Botanical Garden.
These trees will be planted across public spaces, helping to restore urban greenery, improve biodiversity, provide shade and strengthen environmental resilience in affected areas
