The Champions Academy's U14 team in Fourways celebrated a season marked by determination and unity.

The team saw the expansion of its coaching and management structure, ensuring that every player receives the guidance and support needed to reach their full potential.

The team manager Obinna Nwobodo says the academy continued to expand its youth development programmes, offering structured training, mentorship and life-skills support for players across multiple age groups.

The manager says partnerships with schools, local clubs, and community organisations have also grown stronger, helping the academy to reach more aspiring young footballers.

Johannesburg welcomed the New Year in style as the Made in Jozi Festival brought the city together in
celebration of the music, culture and the people who make the city unforgettable.

The festival delivered a premium experience, featuring state-of-the-art staging, cutting-edge production and gourmet cuisine.

Some of the country's top local artists and DJs delivered a high-energy mix of Amapiano, Afro house, hip hop and deep house, providing the soundtrack as the city counted down to the New Year.

The Northern Cape’s Mbulelo Gobo and Kerapetse Booi, who are top achievers in university debating, are giving back by nurturing young debating talent across the province.

The pair founded the Northern Cape Schools Debating Association in 2020 and have dedicated years of mentorship and sacrifice to the initiative.

The Association recently fielded two high school teams at the 2025 National Debating Championships in the Free State.
