The Grade 4 learner competed in the international youth football tournament after being selected to join a South African squad.

United Flags of Fashion unveiled in New York

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has partnered with Vogue and the America250 national initiative to launch the United Flags of Fashion exhibition at Rockefeller Center in New York.

The public art installation features over 120 reimagined flag designs representing the 50 states and U.S. territories, designed by prominent American fashion brands.

The project celebrates the United States' 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence
through fashion and public art.

The exhibition includes creative contributions from major industry names, such as Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Thom Browne, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang and Coach.

The flags will remain on public display at the Rockefeller Center through September 4th.
