Women Trade Intervention Dialogue kicks off 2025 Women’s Month

Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga, is today hosting the Women Trade Intervention Dialogue at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The event marks the official launch of the 2025 Women’s Month, which will be observed under the theme: "Building Resilient Economies for All."
The Trade Intervention forms part of the Department's G20 priority on Financial Inclusion, which seeks to accelerate access to financial services for women and girls.
The initiative aims to ensure that women benefit from digital tools, credit facilities and entrepreneurship opportunities.
In addition the event will spotlight strategies to support and sustain the informal economy, with a focus on key identified economic sectors.

Cape Forum and International Agricultural Academy partner to boost Agri Careers in the Western Cape

The Cape Forum and the International Agricultural Academy for Africa have joined forces to help learners at agricultural schools in the Western Cape, to unlock a career in agriculture.
The initiative forms part of i3A's school programme which aims to give learners the opportunity to begin their agricultural studies from Grade 10—covering a wide range of fields such as beef and crop production, wildlife management and viticulture.
The Cape Forum’s Bernard Pieters says the partnership creates exciting pathways for young people to enter the Agricultural sector with real-world skills and opportunities.
