On the 10th of April 2025 Epson launched their first Innovation Centre in South Africa at the company’s Fourways HQ in Johannesburg. The Centre is a showcase of their cutting-edge technology which aims to inspire employees, young learners and local business owners with a first-hand experience of what innovation and sustainability means to Epson.

It is intended that school learners and young tech aspirants visit the Centre for an awe-inspiring immersive experience of how tech and sustainable innovation can work towards protecting and preserving the planet.
On display at the Innovation Centre, visitors can expect to see a whole lot more than printers — from their variety of interactive projectors and SmartBoards, their interactive whiteboards!
The company affirmed its commitment to responsible use of natural resources, and delivering a positive lasting impact on the environment.
Epson President Neil Colquhoun commented: “We subscribe to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and as a former sponsor of COP, we were happy to be audited by an independent commission, For us, sustainability is not just about words on the screen.”
