SA Fashion Designer Shines

Nhlakanipho Masuku, founder of the fashion brand Sheshu Xabange — which means “Think Fast” — is on a mission to change perceptions of African print through innovative design. Growing up in Roodepoort, Masuku learned the art of sewing from his mother, who taught him to create garments from scratch. This early exposure ignited a lasting passion for fashion. After completing his studies at Allen Glen High School, Masuku launched Sheshu Xabange in 2018. His brand has gained recognition with showcases at Soweto and Newton Fashion Week. Masuku hopes to one day present his collections on the global stage, at fashion weeks in New York, Paris, and Milan.

China's Celebrates Worlds Biggest Legoland

The Shanghai resort which will be hosting the world's biggest Legoland is the first in China. Lego sections include Ninjago, Lego Friends and Monkie Kid lands, in which classic Lego pieces are brought to life and supersized. The Miniland creations took 168,000 hours to complete, using more than 20 million bricks. Lego, the Danish family-owned toymaker that produces the bricks, is a familiar name in China where it has more than 400 stores.SOUND
