Nova Pioneer Learner Represents South Africa at International Chess Championship

Grade 3 learner Atlehang Malemane from Nova Pioneer North Riding is proudly representing South Africa at an international chess championship in Rhodes, Greece.
Atlehang earned her spot on the national team after an outstanding performance in the regional tournament.
Departing on April 11, she now competes with some of the world’s top young chess players.
The school’s head, Prathna Ramchunder, praised Atlehang for her excellence, courage, and discipline, qualities the school strives to instill in all learners.
