Government Launches Employment Initiative

Government has launched phase 5 of the Basic Education Employment initiative. This is to to address the high youth unemployment rate. The initiative forms part of the Presidential employment stimulus, designed to offer young South Africans aged 18 to 34 a six month opportunity to gain work experience, earn an income and build critical employment skills. Cold Front for Gauteng

It's time to get your warm blankets out this week as a cold snap is going to hit Gauteng. Temperatures are expected to get even colder, dropping significantly ahead of the weekend. Gauteng Weather warns residents to brace for a cold snap across parts of the province from Friday. Temperatures will drop to a minimum of 6°C in Johannesburg with a high of 16°C.
